A GREAT thank you for more than we expected. Professional repair, reasonable turn-around time, & still a "down home" feel of honesty.
Will be back for more bug fixes!

hello guys and ladies, I used to work for the Duval County Health Department from 2004-2011 doing Limited Use Well and Septic Tank inspections. I finally found a 1978 Westy prior to my moving to Huntsville, Alabama (August 2011-November 2013). I rode her for many months. She is presently in Hazel Grenn, Alabama getting restored. I have lived in Evans, Georgia since November 2013 and patiently awaiting her return to my family and I. We are looking for another bus (Deluxe, Kombi or Campmobile) and hope to get it after getting our original back. Eventually, it will be all three of us riding busses. Mr. Glen, please tell the gang we send salutations from the home of the Masters Tournament.

Mr. Glen and Mr Eric have been servicing my 02 Jetta Wagen and 02 Golf TDI since I moved here in 2006. When I build my Jetta-mino (Smyth Perfomance Jetta/Golf pickup conversion kit with TDI eng) it will be going here for Eric to do the T-belt maintenance. Great service and fast turn around at a great price. You can't beat the years of technical knowledge + experience they have. I you have a old bug, bus, vanagon or new body water cooled, this is the place to go In Jacksonville for maintenance that you can't do yourself!

The challenge of working in such close proximity to the company's operations required us to adjust our processes throughout the project. Many of our tasks, such as completing tie-ins for MEP systems (fire, HVAC, fire alarm and all low voltage systems) had to be accomplished after hours and on weekends. Groundwork and excavation work was also affected by this requirement. Any time we attempted an excavation we hand dug and potholed to confirm location of lines before excavation began. By the end of the project we dug up the power lines and encased them in concrete to provide some protection to the client in the future.

Glenn,

Thanks for the EXCELLENT job in restoring Bella, my '73 Transporter. The transformation is remarkable. Leroy did a stellar job at bringing her outer beauty back to life. Havier, Wade, yourself did the same for her interior and mechanicals. I don't know the names of the other VW experts in your employee that worked on the AC and other mechanical items but I want to thank them as well. While I was thrilled with the results when I first picked her up, I have been even more impressed with the warranty work on the few small items that needed some follow-up. Never was there a question or concern about taking care of these minor things that are to be expected on a vehicle her age. I can't tell you the number of smiles, waves, peace signs, horn honk hellos, and general good will Bella brings out in pedestrians and fellow drivers where ever I take her. Hilltop Motors is TOPS is my book. My heartfelt thanks to you, all of your mechanics, Jim, and the young lady that works in the office.

I wanted to drop a note on Glen & Jim along with the rest of the folks @ Hilltop. I?m at the end of a one year restoration on my ?63 Karmann Cabriolet Convertible. I had my doubts about doing this project in Jacksonville, Florida. This town is not exactly the Mecca of Air Cooled German Steel. This forces most in Florida to look on the internet for items and pay for shipping. I?m glad I found out about Glenn and his family?s business. There pricing is just as good if not better than what I found on the internet. No shipping charges and you actually get to touch the part before you purchase! What I found in HillTops attic I could not find on the Internet! You can imagine the collection of new parts / old NOS parts a business acquires over 44 years! (Hidden treasure chest)And if they don?t have it, they can order it, the cost was no more than the price (or less) than what you would find on the internet. I grew up in the Mecca of air cooled (So.Cal) and this is my 5th pan off rebuild, I thought I knew a little something, I will be the first to admit Glen and Jim have forgot more about a VW than I ever hope to learn. They have earned a lifelong customer here. They have treated me right!
I appreciate the Help Glen & Jim!

Hello,
I was looking at a 1979 VW Superbeetle Convertible on Ebay stating that they will be sending this car for inspection before the buyer buys. Do you know if this has been done yet. Do you have any history of working on this bug. The man lives in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. I am in WV so it is hard to not be able to take for test drive.
Thanks

GREETINGS, Guys!
I want a running diesel engine like one from a Rabbit for a project, and wonder if you folks have any. I'm not picky about the year of manufacture or vehicle of origin so long as they are definitely defined, so I can find parts if necessary in the future. It is painfully obvious, but I usually have to explain. The lower the price, the better. It looks like I have the wrong page for a request. Hmm....Thanks, guys. Please mull it over a bit, I'll phone in a day or 2 to hear what you might have.
